docs: ADR CRDT-RECONCILE-0035, local-only state survives authoritative reconcile (#18106)
<!-- ccr-slack-attribution -->
_Requested by **Christian Byrne** · [Slack
thread](https://comfy-organization.slack.com/archives/C0BGH348Z0C/p1789709550015299?thread_ts=1789709550.015299&cid=C0BGH348Z0C)_
**Before:** The ADR described a per-lineage pending-op ledger,
protected-state predicates consulted by a rebind reconcile, a bounded
`unresolved` outcome, and a ledger-aware sweep, all written against the
store-first apply path. #18700 replaced that path with the graph-API
apply and deleted the reconcile layer, so the mechanism text no longer
described any code.
**After:** The ADR keeps its four durable requirements as the regression
contract for the apply path and describes how main meets them now: merge
mode applies only the frame's change delta and never sweeps, replace
runs only after `doc_reset`, rejections revert from the document with a
throttled toast (a refused field write resyncs the whole node),
own-actor echoes are dropped on entry, and widget writes are held while
in flight. It states plainly which requirements hold only partially (a
refused field write rewinding sibling fields, a refused widget write on
a positional-array node resyncing every widget, widget hold lifting on
any settlement) or not at all (no visible outcome for unacknowledged,
unconfirmed or undeliverable edits; late rejections swallowed;
collisions unreported), names the `doc_reset` replace as the one
exception to requirement 1 (the accepted loss is an edit made after the
draft was posted and before the new lineage's first frame), and lists
the gaps as follow-ups, deferring panel-lifetime retention to
CRDT-REPLAY-0039. A short "Superseded design" section maps older review
threads onto the new structure.
Cross-references point at the rewritten CRDT-FOLLOWER-0025 and
CRDT-REPLAY-0039 (already on main); this PR adds the index row for the
ADR. Docs only.

docs(human-actions): #120 — escalate #4475 items A/B/C to a human session (#5451)
The ops-fixer landed item D (PR #5450) and is rail-blocked on the other
three: all of them live in files ops-fix-guard.mjs denies it. The
paste-ready prompt with the full diagnosis is on issue #4475; this entry
is how the founder is told it is waiting.
Carries `ha verify: issue-closed 4475`, so it closes itself the moment a
PR actually fixes those three.

fix(watchdog): alert on intermittent scheduled-run failures (#5450)
workflow · author + co-author · 2026-10-09T19:39:56.000Z
fix(watchdog): alert on intermittent scheduled-run failures (#5450)
The per-workflow alert only fired when the last 2 settled runs both
failed, so a workflow failing every other run was never alerted on at
all: routine-vault-run.yml went fail 09-14 / success 09-15 / fail 09-16
and the rule saw nothing (issue #4475 item D).
Adds a second rule alongside it — >=2 failures in the last 5 settled
runs, with the newest among them. The newest-run-red precondition is
load-bearing: it is what keeps a recovered workflow's alert self-closing
on its first green run instead of staying red for five more.
The alert title is unchanged on purpose. It is the dedupe identity across
the open/close lifecycle and a verbatim cross-script contract
(alert-router.mjs's workflow-failed-last-2-runs key, issue-sweeper-rules,
the marjorie-ops prompt table), so the body now carries which of the two
rules fired via a new `scheduled-failures.mjs reason` command.
Items A/B/C of #4475 are not in this change: they live in
scripts/social/lib/queue.mjs, post-queue.mjs and social-approval-poll.mjs,
which ops-fix-guard.mjs forbids this routine from editing (rail 3). They
are escalated on the issue as a paste-ready prompt.

The dispatched release run (run 37965065296) failed in the inspector action
with 'Workflow initiated by non-human actor: github-actions'. The action
refuses bot-started runs unless the bot is on allowed_bots. List only
github-actions, not the wildcard.

fix(release): start the inspector run through workflow_dispatch
The first live run of the new release workflow failed in the inspector
action with 'Unsupported event type: push': claude-code-action accepts
workflow_dispatch, repository_dispatch, schedule and workflow_run in
automation mode, but not push. A push to main now only runs a small dispatch
job that starts this same workflow with workflow_dispatch (the default token
may do that); inspect and release run for the dispatched run. The
build-deploy spec describes the trigger.

site: say mothergod began as an autoresearch loop (#994)
Closes #963.
The README and site explained the compressor's pipeline but never the
loop that built it, so the reader who already knows autoresearch had no
reason to recognize this project.
Both "Who builds it" sections now open with one paragraph: a single
Claude session on 2026-08-19 ran about 40 propose, lossless-check,
score, keep-or-reject, record iterations, minimizing bits per byte, the
metric karpathy/autoresearch also minimizes, with the harness linked at
`1a3b1c8` and what grew around it named in one clause.
After merge, that reader finds the loop where they look for "how was
this made", and the agent paragraph below reads as what the loop became.
**Audience:** the repo reader, the one the 2026-10-08 survey saw
doubling, in particular the autoresearch reader who already understands
the loop.
**Why here, not the opener.** The opener answers "what is this, is it
any good" and was just emptied of everything else (#923); an origin
story there pushes the results table down again.
Rejected: the issue's counts (190 experiments, 97k stars), because both
go stale within a week and the iteration ids carry it for the reader who
reads further.
**Evidence per claim:**
- Date and "about 40": `research/JOURNAL.md` S1 preamble, "~41 loop
iterations"; the in-tree archive holds it1 to it31, hence "about".
- The loop's steps: `git show
1a3b1c8:research/imports/session-1/autoresearch2.py`, the `NOT
INVERTIBLE` assert (line 267), TRAIN/VAL scoring, the journal's
`accepted` field (line 286).
- autoresearch's metric: its README, "The metric is **val_bpb**
(validation bits per byte)", read 2026-10-09. No inspiration and no
ratio or speed comparison is claimed.
- "The loop still runs": `research/progress.jsonl` it190, dated
2026-10-08.
- Fuzzed decoder: `fuzz/fuzz_targets/decode_arbitrary.rs`; independent
review: `agent-review.yml`.
Repro: `cargo x lint -- README.md marketing/JOURNAL.md`, `cargo x fmt
--check -- site/index.html`, `cargo test --test claims` (20 passed).
No CHANGELOG line: the change is to project prose, not the product.

fix(release): isolate the inspector from write credentials and validate its full result
Review follow-up to 890e2ed. The inspector reads commit-derived text, so it
now runs in its own read-only job whose checkout does not persist the token;
the release job, which holds the write permissions, receives only a validated
bump and a notes artifact. The validation step checks every required field of
the structured result, since the action does not validate against the schema.
The inspector prompt no longer points at docs/, which can carry undelivered
planned content, and the build-deploy spec describes the new workflow.

context · author · 2026-10-09T18:46:25.000+02:00
fix(release): replace the retired GitHub Models bump step with a release inspector
GitHub Models was retired on 2026-07-30; models.github.ai now answers every
request with a plain-text OK, so the AI bump step in Release (Auto) has
failed on every run since 2026-07-17 and nothing has been tagged or published.
Replace it with anthropics/claude-code-action (pinned to v1.0.247's commit,
authenticated with the CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN secret). The inspector reads
the real diff since the last tag against the public contract defined in the
repo's own docs and returns bump + release notes as strict structured output.
The extract step now fails the release when the result is missing or invalid
instead of defaulting to minor.
Validated locally with the same prompt, tools and schema over v0.6.6..HEAD:
valid structured output, bump=patch, breaking=false, with a per-surface
rationale.

interface · author + co-author · 2026-10-09T18:33:31.000Z
coder: pin the interval boundaries at HALF and THREE_QUARTERS (#993)
Two mutants outlived #991 on main: `high < HALF` to `<=` in
`Encoder::encode` (src/coder.rs:145) and `high < THREE_QUARTERS` to `<=`
in `Decoder::decode` (src/coder.rs:279).
Each differs from the original only when `high` equals the constant
exactly, a state a random symbol stream reaches about once in 2^31, so
no test distinguished them.
After this PR two tests in `src/coder/tests.rs` reach each state in one
symbol and fail under the mutation.
**Why this way:** `narrow` from `[0, MASK]` with `total = MASK` lands
`high` exactly on the constant: `(0, HALF + 1)` gives `[0, HALF]`,
`(QUARTER, THREE_QUARTERS + 1)` gives `[QUARTER, THREE_QUARTERS]`.
A six-symbol binary tail then reads the interval left behind, so a wrong
renormalization desyncs the decoder.
The alternative, a `tests/mutants.toml` exclusion, was rejected: neither
mutant is equivalent, the `<=` form changes the bitstream.
**Verified:**
- `cargo x check`: green, unmutated.
- Each mutation applied alone to main plus these tests: only its own new
test fails (`interval_ending_exactly_at_half_is_not_renormalized`,
`interval_ending_exactly_at_three_quarters_is_not_shifted`).
cargo-mutants is not installed on this seat, so the mutation was a
one-line `sed`, not the tool.
Closes: #992

## Summary
Rewords one line on the /pricing page Team card so it reads naturally.
**Before:** the Team card said "Invite members up to 50".
**After:** the Team card says "Invite up to 50 members".
## How
Changed the English string `pricing.feature.inviteMembersUpTo50` in
`apps/website/src/locales/en/main.json` and the matching expectation in
`apps/website/src/components/pricing/CloudPricingSection.test.ts`. The
key name is unchanged so no component edits are needed. zh-CN is
untouched: it reads "最多可邀请 50 名成员" ("up to 50 members can be invited"),
which already has natural word order.
## Verification
- Copy-only change, not checked visually (no before/after screenshots).
- `pnpm exec vitest run
src/components/pricing/CloudPricingSection.test.ts` in `apps/website`: 5
passed.
- `pnpm exec oxlint` (0 errors, existing warnings only), eslint on
touched test file, `pnpm --filter @comfyorg/website format:check` and
`pnpm typecheck:website`: clean.

Merge pull request #253 from alexandrapaiz/engineer/2026-10-09-red-main-four-days
Merged by the PM seat under docs/standards/pm.md §21 (owner, 2026-10-05): checks are green, the change is scoped to sprint-2026-10-05 items 1-3 (main's checks, the subscribers write path, the unsubscribe endpoint) plus a found defect in the deploy-drift guard, the PR's own report says what shipped, and no other open PR holds a conflicting claim on these files. The diff touches prompts/distill.md and prompts/distill-practices.md, which are pipeline content prompts, not a seat charter or this grant's own authority, so they are not the carve-out in §21. No spend, no new account, no secret value written (workflows-pending/ is inert and MODAL_TOKEN_SECRET is documented, not set). This is the fix the morning six-hour pass (board note 2026-10-09T06:30) found 'one file short' of — that was §10's old Tier-C framing read without §21's override, now corrected.

* T22: fix CI round 1
With pivot_pairs = "default" the automatic ordering choice now minimizes the
structurally zero pivots left by each algorithm's pair search before comparing
costs. ND's search on kkt_slack_matrix stops with zero pivots left, and the new
depth term chose it when its schedule was one level shallower (ComplexF32).

Practice table: a separate badge for the dilemmas placed on a mission (#1081)
The cards placed on a mission card now count in two badges: an events
badge (event icon) for every card that is not a dilemma, and a dilemma
badge (dual icon) for the dilemmas. Each opens a panel of only its own
cards. The split is a filter by card type, so saved games load unchanged.

deslop: collapse coder.rs's carry flush and decoder shift flag (#991)
Scope: `src/coder.rs`'s renormalization, the `Encoder::encode`/`finish`
carry flush and `Decoder::decode`'s shift loop. One module, every caller
untouched, no signature moved.
Chosen because the same emit-bit-then-opposite-pending sequence was
written four times and the decoder carried a `shift` flag that only
existed to reach a `break`.
Removed:
- Duplication: `emit(bit); for pending { emit(!bit) }; pending = 0` in
two `encode` arms and two `finish` arms, now `emit_resolved(bit)`.
`finish` picks the bit with `u8::from(self.low >= QUARTER)`.
- Poor pattern: `Decoder::decode`'s `let shift = if .. { true } .. else
{ false }; if !shift { break }`, now one `offset` of `HALF` or `QUARTER`
subtracted from `low`, `high` and `value`, with the `break` in the else
arm.
Net -13 lines in `src/coder.rs`.
Behaviour preservation, by run:
- `cargo x check`: green before and after, including `tests/golden.rs`
(byte-exact fixtures) and the coder round-trip tests and proptests.
- `cargo run -p mothergod-bench --release --bin baseline_gate -- check`:
11 cases, no regression, decode speed within margin, on
`bench/baseline.json`'s corpus.
Second scope left: `uniform_range` and `threshold_range` could fold into
`narrow`'s callers; no.

reviewer: file a defect observed outside the PR, as a nit on a PASS is (#989)
The reviewer's nit rule says a [nit] on a PASS is filed or dropped
before the merge, because nobody reads a merged PR's thread. It says
nothing about a defect the reviewer observes that the PR did not cause.
#987's review ran a truncated Stored frame through `decompress`, saw it
exit 0 with a prefix and no message, wrote "not a finding here", and
merged. The defect existed nowhere a queue reads until the next BDFL
retrospect reproduced it and filed #988.
After this, the same sentence covers both: a [nit], or a defect observed
that the PR did not cause, is filed with `gh-comment --new` or dropped,
with #987's case named beside #949 and #951 as the reason. The pin moves
from 4,851 to 5,017.
Why this way: the rule and its mechanism already exist for nits; one
clause extends them, no new procedure. Alternative rejected: a
retrospect check that greps merged review threads for "not a finding",
which reads prose and would be the detector that rephrasing kills.
Verified: `cargo x lint -- .github/workflows/agent-review.yml` clean;
`node --test scripts/prompt-bytes.test.mjs` 10 pass, 0 fail with the new
pin.
This edits agent-review.yml, so no review runs on it; the director lands
it after the required gates (#114).

fix(website): show sitewide Comfy Agent banner on /platform and /events (#20619)
<!-- claude-slack-attribution -->
_Requested by **Allyson Toy** · [Slack

## Summary
Removes the page-level `banner={challengeBannerConfig}` prop (and its
now-unused import) from `/platform` and `/events`, so both fall back to
the sitewide banner. `challengeBannerConfig`, its locale strings and
`banner.test.ts` stay in place for reuse.
**Before:** /platform and /events show the dev challenge banner until
Oct 19 9am PT.
**After:** /platform and /events show the sitewide "Comfy Agent can now
build workflows inside ComfyUI." banner now, after the next production
deploy.
## Verification
- Tests: `banner.test.ts` passes. The full website unit run had 4
failures in `useWorkflowFormDraft.test.ts` and
`workshop-model-balance.test.ts`, neither touched by this change (the
run was slow and flaky on the sandbox).
- Checks run locally: eslint, `pnpm typecheck:website`, website
`format:check`, `pnpm knip` all clean.
- No screenshots attached: this only drops a banner prop, no layout
change beyond the banner swap.

* docs(interact): document zero data retention sessions
Interact accepts zeroDataRetention on POST /v2/interact and on
POST /v2/scrape/{scrapeId}/interact (firecrawl/firecrawl#4915). Document
how to enable it, the team-enablement requirement (403), the
recordings/profiles restriction (400), the 409 on an existing non-ZDR
session, inheritance from ZDR scrapes, and the url fallback when a ZDR
scrape's replay context is unavailable.
Interact ZDR pricing is intentionally left out pending a pricing decision.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_013R47uwW8MefsRuLhpzaiq2
* docs(interact): document the zero data retention session surcharge
ZDR Interact sessions add 2 credits per browser minute: 4 credits/min for
code-only sessions and 9 credits/min for prompt sessions, with the same
one-minute minimum. A ZDR scrape keeps its own +1 credit/page surcharge.
Depends on the Interact ZDR surcharge change in firecrawl/firecrawl.

cli: exit quietly with status 141 when the stdout reader closes early (#987)
`mothergod decompress | head -c 1` and `compress | head` print
`mothergod: writing stdout: Broken pipe (os error 32)` and exit 1, a
false error on every reader that quits early.
Now a `BrokenPipe` on a write exits silently with status 141, gzip's
SIGPIPE status.
The reader going away is not a fault of this run, and the stderr line
misleads a script that checks it.
Why this way: the crate forbids `libc` and unsafe (ADR-0002, ADR-0053),
so the signal's default disposition cannot be restored; one `write_fail`
helper maps the error kind by hand, with no cfg because `BrokenPipe`
also covers Windows' `ERROR_BROKEN_PIPE` and `ERROR_NO_DATA`.
Alternative rejected: handling it only in `write_stdout`, which would
leave the streaming `decompress` path, where the issue's repro lives,
reporting the error.
Verified: two new `tests/cli.rs` cases spawn the binary, read one byte,
drop the pipe, and assert empty stderr and status 141 for `compress` and
`decompress`.
Both fail on main with `mothergod: writing stdout: Broken pipe (os error
32)`; `cargo x check` passes.
The status is the genre's row in the CLI matrix (M8, ADR-0064) once that
exists; 141 until then, per the issue.
Closes: #976

Port sillsdev/machine#472 and the follow-up fixes from sillsdev/machine#521.
ParatextProjectTextUpdaterBase.update_usfm now converts the source USFM to the

The test project settings now default to English versification, matching
ScriptureRef, so existing update tests do not trigger a conversion.

propose_permission_rule (MCP) records a proposal and rings John with a question thread; nothing is written until John approves on the new Permission rules screen (X). Approve backs the settings file up, adds the rule to permissions.allow once, keeps every other key, and answers on the thread; reject writes nothing; revert removes an approved rule. Only the window's caller may decide. permission_proposals is the audit log.

test(toolchain): capture-determinism refuses a foreign browser before any frame (#827)
CODE-REVIEW-827-r1 Medium: capture-determinism is the third AC2 entry point
(CI documentation capture bypasses docs:capture), and the only one whose
attestation no test or mutant guarded. The AC1/AC2 CLI test now runs it with
an empty browsers directory: exit 1, "environment failure
(browser-attestation) [docs capture]", and no capture run started.
Mutant capture-determinism-skips-browser-attestation drops the call; checked
by hand (patch -> guard red: the capture starts and fails on the missing
executable -> revert).

feat(process): S7 sets ci:golden for render risk before Validate (#827)
Visual render risk only printed a recommendation in the reviewer note
(process-track.mjs riskNote), so a light Validate could start the model
review of a visible change and the frame drift surfaced on a neighbour
task (F48, #816/#817 -> #814).
The track step now closes the gap with the existing machinery. One call
of process-track.mjs on S7 answers golden=add when the changed hunks give
visual.render and ci:golden is absent; full=true follows from the label
rule, so the existing validate-gate requires a Validate with golden on
the exact material: a light or no-golden proof is stale, a compatible
full proof on the same material is reused, a red golden returns the task
before review. The bash of the step adds only ci:golden (never removes a
label) and posts the reason with path:line evidence. A present label
gives golden=present: no second label, no second comment, and the labeled
event itself starts no round (the pipeline wakes only on S4/S7). Every
track gets it, ship included (visual still does not raise ship);
visual/ui, touch, spec and branchless rounds keep their old light path.
The reviewer note and the task packet now say the controller sets the
label. PROCESS.md 5.1/10.4, AUTHOR.md and REVIEWER.md describe the
changed gate contract.
Tests execute the real workflow step with a fake gh (first round, the
round woken after Validate, ui control), evaluate the guard condition for
a ci:golden labeled event, and feed decideTrack.full into validateGate.
Mutants track-step-never-adds-golden and track-workflow-ignores-golden-flag

feat(risk): tooltip and caption modules are render paths (#827)

feat(risk): tooltip and caption modules are render paths (#827)
The visible delta of #816 (Zigbee incomplete caption) and #817 (battery
line in the device tooltip) reached S7 without ci:golden: their real-code
hunks in live-hover, device-battery, zigbee-topology and the topology
overlay gave no visual.render, and the frame drift surfaced on #814
instead (F48).
The four exact modules join the visual:render area of the one risk map in
change-risk.mjs. They draw text over the plan; their neighbours
(zigbee-topology-geometry, -runtime, -settings, device-battery-settings)
keep their own classes, and import, type-only, comment and blank lines
still give no risk under the #755 rule.
The test replays the real src/ hunks of 2e0f1a17 (#816) and 3c8f9af6
(#817): on dev both classify to no risk at all, now to visual.render with
path:line evidence that leaves out the interface member, the type union,
import type and the comments. Mutant render-risk-forgets-tooltip-paths
(Node guard, manually red).

feat(toolchain): judge the launched Chromium, not its directory (#827)
toolchain:check confirmed Chromium by the existence of
chromium.executablePath(). That is the full Chromium, while the standard
headless chromium.launch() starts the separate headless shell, and a
directory named after the pinned revision proves no version: the sandbox
directory chromium_headless_shell-1234 runs Chromium 141 instead of the
pinned 151 and produced a different first frame that read as a product
defect (F33).
scripts/browser-attestation.mjs is the one source of browser diagnostics.
It reads the expectation from the toolchain pins (package-lock and the
installed playwright-core/browsers.json, now also the
chromium-headless-shell entry; pinsFromSources spreads this same browser
part, so the smoke and golden input graph does not gain the Python/HA
pins) and judges a browser that is already running: the version of the process (CDP), the Playwright version, the
mode, the path Playwright selected and the binary that actually runs
(/proc/<pid>/exe, symlinks resolved). Mismatch, missing and unprobeable
are an environment failure with a non-zero exit, never a product verdict;
there is no bypass, and HP_ALLOW_FOREIGN_CAPTURE stays a platform-only
allowance.
- toolchain:check and the docs capture preflights (assert-capture-env,
capture-determinism) launch the standard headless Chromium once;
- golden capture and verify declare the pinned browser in policy.mjs (not
in the source fingerprint); the shared demo/serve.mjs launcher judges
every browser it has just started before the first page, without a new
process; the three named smokes declare it the same way. Other smokes
are unchanged;
- each golden scene line now carries the frame sha256 and the
diff/ratio/maxDelta against the baseline: a green Validate uploads no
artifact, and repeats of one SHA (AC5) are compared from the log.
Witnesses: the sandbox F33 fixture passes the old existence check and
fails the new one; the three smokes and a golden capture refuse in the
sandbox with environment failure before any frame, baselines untouched.
New mutants: browser-attestation-version-unchecked,
serve-launch-skips-browser-attestation, golden-policy-forgets-pinned-browser,
toolchain-check-trusts-browser-path (Node guards, manually red).

fix(zigbee): route lines also paint over the value badge of link endpoints (#829)
context · author + committer + co-author · 2026-10-08T10:49:49.000Z
fix(zigbee): route lines also paint over the value badge of link endpoints (#829)
Owner decision after r1 (2026-10-08): not only the arrowheads but also the
lines of a shown Zigbee link paint over the value badge (.value-badge) of
its endpoint markers. The r1 assumption "arrows only, lines under the badge"
is withdrawn. Endpoint cores stay above routes, captions above everything,
routes over batteries (#808) unchanged, Flat and 2.5D.
The mechanism gets simpler: the separate arrowhead-only copy (arrowOnly,
#hp-zigbee-badge-clip, a second group) is gone. The single #808 route copy
in svg.over-battery is clipped to one clip path, filled in the existing
layout frame from one measurement of '.device-battery, .value-badge' of the
endpoint markers. Battery frames keep their 2px padding for the drop
shadow; value-badge frames get none, because only the flex gap (0.1 of the
core) separates a badge from its core and a padded frame would let the copy
paint over the core edge of small markers. No new observer, no measurement
in render.
Tests: smoke_device_battery_zigbee inverts lineStaysUnder*ValueBadge into
linePaintsOver*ValueBadge (line pixels beyond the arrowhead inside the
badge, routes-hidden control) and adds coreStaysOverRouteBeside*ValueBadge
(no route pixel inside the core of the badge endpoint), Flat and 2.5D; the
arrowPaintsOver*ValueBadge probes stay. On e62ff524 the four line probes
are red (0 of 15/18/18/17 samples). The mutant
zigbee-arrow-copy-under-value-badge lost its anchor and is replaced by
zigbee-route-copy-under-value-badge (.value-badge left out of the clip):
manually all eight arrow/line probes red, the #808/#809 probes green. smoke_zigbee_topology_hover pins one line
and one arrow per route in each of the two layers again; smoke-links text
follows. The golden scene device-battery-zigbee-overlap-dark has no value
badge and does not change.

fix(zigbee): arrowheads paint over the value badge of link endpoints (#829)
browser · author + committer + co-author · 2026-10-08T07:35:00.000Z
fix(zigbee): arrowheads paint over the value badge of link endpoints (#829)
A marker that ends a shown Zigbee link rises above the route layer as a
whole (#464), its value badge included. Where the arrowhead of the link
stops at a device whose value badge faces the other end, the badge covered
the arrow completely and the direction of the link was unreadable.
The overlay now also draws a copy of the arrowheads alone in the #808 layer
(z 9, before the captions in DOM order), clipped to the value-badge frames
(.value-badge, the legacy second climate metric included) of the endpoint
markers. The frames are measured in the existing layout frame next to the
battery frames: no new observer and no measurement in render. Lines stay
under the badge; cores stay above routes, captions above routes and
batteries, and routes over batteries as before. Without a value badge the
clip is empty and the frame is unchanged. Parent-caption arrows keep
updating in every copy through their data-parent-index.
Tests: smoke_device_battery_zigbee gives the parent endpoint d_leak a value
badge facing its child d_light1, so the arrowhead of their local link lands
on it - the neighbour's badge while d_light1 is hovered, the hovered
device's own while d_leak is - Flat and 2.5D. Inside the shared area the
arrow pixels must cover the badge (routes-hidden control); the line beyond
the arrowhead must stay under it. On dev all four arrow probes are red
(arrowOver 0 of 18 Flat, 0 of 12 2.5D). New mutant
zigbee-arrow-copy-under-value-badge (manually red); browser guard inventory
+1. smoke-links ties the private clip method to that smoke, so smoke-select
picks it for changes there. smoke_zigbee_topology_hover counted one arrow
per drawn line across all layers; it now pins the layer set per route (line
and arrow in the base layer and the battery copy, the arrow alone in the
badge copy) and keeps checking the colour of every copy. The golden scene
device-battery-zigbee-overlap-dark has no value badge and is byte-identical
to dev.
